The Browns on Monday relieved Hue Jackson of his duties as head coach.

The Browns have lost three straight games after a promising start this season. And even though this is first year as the signal-caller, it sounds like the No. 1 overall pick wasn't all that fond of Jackson, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Instead of picking sides, Browns ownership and Dorsey decided it was best to fire them both.

When the Browns fired Hue Jackson today, it continued the franchise's dubious lack of coaching stability in Cleveland.

Now Hue has been forced out, and don't be surprised if Haley becomes the interim head coach.

Jackson, 53, went 8-8 in his sole season in charge of the Oakland Raiders in 2011, making his overall National Football League record 11-44-1. Cleveland, despite making strides, has just a 2-5-1 record on the season.

The Browns host the Kansas City Chiefs (7-1) on Sunday. Williams will remain the Browns defensive coordinator.

Jackson has displayed a propensity to obsess over the comments of other coaches and staff to the media, sources said, parsing out words to determine whether or not he is being given sufficient credit for the team's progress. First came news of the inevitable, that Jackson had been fired. I said wanted to help, that's it.

It hasn't been a good couple of days for coaches in Cleveland. "We don't need to change much".

According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns have decided to make a head coaching change.
