The body of a third California resident who died after two boats collided on the Colorado River has been recovered, Arizona authorities said Tuesday.

In the crash on Saturday night, a boat with 10 people and a craft carrying six people struck each other and everyone aboard was thrown into the water near Arizona's border with California.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office reported that the victim was identified as Kirra Drury, 24 from Ventura.

Mortensen says Lewis was a California resident, but her hometown hasn't been determined. One boater, Raegan Heitzig, remains missing. Nine people were injured, officials said. Another seven were taken to hospitals by ambulance and treated for less serious injuries, officials said.

In the high-speed collision passengers were ejected and both vessels sunk, said the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred between two popular marinas and near Moabi Regional Park, as people enjoyed the Labor Day weekend.

Colorado River boat crash missing victims feared dead after first victim body found. Divers have been sent into the river, which can run as deep as 30 feet (9 meters).

Rescue crews arrived about 45 minutes after the first calls for help and found more than a dozen people injured, Eric Sherwin, a spokesman for the San Bernardino County Fire Department, said Saturday. None of the boaters were wearing life jackets, which aren't required but are recommended by authorities, Shuster said. Rescuers had to call off the search until Sunday morning because it was too unsafe to put divers in the river after dark.

Other passengers are believed to have jumped into the water and been carried down river. The other boat involved in the collision was also submerged.

Search efforts resumed Sunday after operations were suspended Saturday night.

The Sheriff's Office will continue patrolling the river until they locate the last missing person, according to the statement.
