Is There an 'Ant-Man & The Wasp' End Credits Scene?

Is There an 'Ant-Man & The Wasp' End Credits Scene? Is There an 'Ant-Man & The Wasp' End Credits Scene?

Still, that ballsy decision speaks to how well the MCU has trained moviegoers to stick around until the end of the credits - clearly the studio isn't too anxious that fans would rush out early, especially since the rest of Ant-Man and The Wasp resolutely avoids making any reference to Thanos or the events of Avengers: Infinity War. But what do they mean for Ant-Man and the Wasp and the future of the MCU? As is the Marvel way, it does indeed, with a total of two after-credits scenes to check out after the movie "ends" (I guess we should lean into calling them stingers this time around, right?). So how does the mid credits scene set up the sequel?

The fact that the MCU is left on ambiguous footing at the end of "Avengers: Infinity War" also opens up a lot of potential in the Quantum Realm.

The Quantum Realm was originally described by Hank Pym as "a reality where all concepts of time and space become irrelevant as you shrink for all eternity". At one point, Scott hears silence from his allies, leaving him trapped in the Quantum Realm.

What happens: Back at Scott's house, everything is chaos. "And we are starting now the next one which will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story", said Pascal in a 2017 interview with Fandom shared through SlashFilm. The ant who'd subbed in for Scott's daily routine is not only home, he's having the time of his life banging on Scott's electric drum kit.

During Avengers: Infinity War, when someone wonders where Hawkeye (Clint Barton) and Ant-Man (Scott Lang), it was explained that, following the fight between Cap's rogue group of Avengers and Iron Man's Sokovia Accords-certified Avengers, Ant-Man and Hawkeye took plea deals due to their respective families.

There's basically an endless list of possibilities revolving around the Quantum Realm.

It's also worth considering that the Quantum Realm may have literally been out of reach of Thanos's snap all together, and thus, in one way or another, immune to the Infinity Stones' powers. Marvel doesn't just toss away key lines like that for nothing; studio head Kevin Feige meticulously maps out every facet of this shared cinematic universe, leading us to believe that these time vortexes will play a role later on. The fallen heroes were reduced to dust in Infinity War and not shown to be explicitly dead.
