The police is investigating the case from all possible angles, Joint Commissioner of Police, Delhi, told ANI.

The police suspect that they committed suicide. The bodies were recovered from a house in Burari.

Police officer Vineet Kumar said all of the deceased belonged to a family and most had lived in one home in Burari village in the northern part of New Delhi.

All were sent for an autopsy on Sunday (local time).

According to sources, all were from the same family and owned a grocery shop.

Seven of the dead were women, while four were men.

Police said the quarrel between the two groups dates back to 2013. Special police teams swung into action and scanning CCTV footage available to ascertain whether any outsider committed the crime. "It is an ongoing investigation and we haven't ruled out anything".
