XXXTentacion - real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy - was shot and killed on Monday, June 18, while he was shopping for motorcycles. Dedrick D. Williams was arrested Wednesday (June 20) evening and charged with first degree murder, as well as violating probation for a prior charge related to auto theft and driving without a valid license.

After Williams' arrest, Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright said homicide detectives were seeking additional suspects. He is due back in court on Monday for a probation violation from a 2014 case and he is also being booked for driving without a license.

While it was a short appearance, a Florida magistrate judge ordered the 22-year-old to be held without bond. The Broward County Sheriff's Office confirmed the arrest, but didn't give a motive.

Williams was arrested on several charges, including first-degree murder. Then, a few weeks later, they sent him to jail on charges of brutally abusing his pregnant girlfriend. It says he "had an active part in the murder of [2 words redacted] by blocking in the victim's vehicle so that the two gunman (sic) could rob the victim at gun point".

XXXTentacion was a rising star.
