We've announced the release day for KINGDOM HEARTS III ahead of E3 at the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour-.

A new trailer for the game as shown which added a September 4th, 2018 release date for the game on PlayStation 4 and PC.

The trailer ends with a tease of two other key blade wielders, Kairi and Axel, watching a sunset in an unknown location. For the first time in KINGDOM HEARTS III, Sora will travel across Pixar and other exciting new Disney worlds that lend the story a grander scale than ever before seen in the series.

And while that may seem odd to say, as dialogue and story is important, this game has always been a fun and light-hearted experience with a, particularly light story.

The song in question, which played a key role in the first Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer shown at E3 2018 (y'know, the one where Aqua got Norted) is "Don't Think Twice".

Seeing more in-depth gameplay for titles like Just Cause 4 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider was nice, especially since those games are releasing later in the year. The smart money would be on Elsa and Anna, but given that Kristoff had one of the more action-packed roles in the movie, letting him join the party would not be unprecedented.

We can't wait to finally play Kingdom Hearts III on January 29, 2019. There wasn't anything else shown about the game to make it at all interesting.

Among the surprise announcements from Square Enix was a new game in partnership with Platinum Games Inc, the developer behind Nier Automata and Star Fox Zero. And how come none of them made their premiere at Square's own event?

After Microsoft and Bethesda, has just announced The Elder Scrolls VI, it is the turn of Square Enix to present its future outputs. Enemies are promised to be more intelligent than prior games, offering up a challenge for unsuspecting players, but beyond that, we didn't hear much more about Just Cause 4. We'll learn more about The Quiet Man in August, but like Babylon's Fall, it will launch on PS4 and PC.
