During the 20-minute interview with officers early Tuesday, she did not mention being angry with YouTube or having accused the company of suppressing her video posts.

"It was a very normal conversation".

Hossein Naderi, a 23-year-old art student in Tehran, questioned why Aghdam chose to "live in the USA, though she didn't like it there", adding: "I wish I was there to use YouTube freely". She then killed herself. San Bruno, California, police said they continue to investigate a motive for the shooting. Aghdam's family lives in Menifee, where Federal Bureau of Investigation officials were investigating the family home. Spokeswoman Ginger Colbrun would not confirm the locations but reporters saw agents entering homes in the communities of Menifee, southeast of Los Angeles, and 4S Ranch, north of San Diego.

Aghdam "positively identified herself" and told police she had "decided to leave her family's home a few days prior due to family issues". She did not give her last name.

Officers contacted her family to let them know that Aghdam was located, but her father and brother called authorities back and told them about the series of videos she had on YouTube. Suspect's family told them "YouTube ruined her life". He declined to identify which shooting range, but several San Bruno police officers on Wednesday spent almost two hours at Jackson Arms, a South San Francisco range.

But in a phone call between Aghdam's father and police, the father said YouTube recently took action on some of Aghdam's vegan videos, a move that infuriated her.

From the self-made exercise videos that bordered between kitsch and creepy to the outspoken vegan and animal-rights activism, the artist and self-described "first ever" Persian female bodybuilder earned a measure of fame and curiosity in the YouTube universe from the Inland Empire to Iran.

Nasim Aghdam had a large internet presence, before her clips and account was deleted in the aftermath of the shooting.

When officers found Nasim Aghdam, she was in her auto near a strip mall in Mountain View, about 25 miles from YouTube and home to the company's owner, Silicon Valley giant Google.

San Diego sheriff's Lt. Karen Stubkjaer said Thursday that the father never told deputies that she was a danger to herself or others when he reported her missing. Nelson did not respond to a question about whether police were warned Aghdam might go to YouTube.

Regarding the situation, Google Communications tweeted that they were "coordinating with authorities and will provide official information here from Google and YouTube as it becomes available".

"Yesterday's horrific act of violence was deeply shocking and disturbing to our YouTube family", the company said in a statement.

"Youtube filtered my channels to keep them from getting views!" one of the messages said.

"There is no equal growth opportunity on YOUTUBE or any other video sharing site, your channel will grow if they want to!", Aghdam ranted in a screengrab shared by CNN, in which the 39 year-old San Diego native railed against unnamed dictatorships she claimed put "personal short term profit" over truth, hiding honesty to achieve what she termed nefarious goals, while hinting that YouTube was restricting her ability to post.

The company said Wednesday that it will increase security at its headquarters and offices around the world.

I haven't searched the web or Youtube in knowing her social media was taken down nearly instantly.
