If those are designed for thin and lightweight laptops, the new Intel i9 processors we are talking about here are designed for high-end devices where power is the most important factor.

The H-series processors mentioned above actually have the "G" suffix, and today, Intel announced the actual "H" chips.

So the next Intel chip to be excited about is the new six-core Core i9 CPUs that have just been unveiled. If neither motherboard manufacturers nor Microsoft are willing to deliver the patches, then there's not much point for Intel to develop them.

The first ever Intel chips with the Core i9 branding were released back in May with an 18-core beast. Its Haifa-based team led the development of the new generation of processors.

The six core Core i9 mobile chips shadow their desktop counterparts in taking the flagship mantle for laptops alongside five newly announced Core i5 and Core i7 performance mobile H-series chips and four new U-series Core chips for lower end systems.

Intel tells us that its Optane memory is "available across both 8th Gen Intel Core mobile and desktop platforms".

According to Intel, the specs translate to 29 percent faster performance in everyday tasks compared to its previous generation Core i7-7820HK processor, and is 59 percent faster at 4K video editing. The Core i7-8700T is hexa-core with 12 threads, while the Core i3-8100T, i3-8300T, i5-8400T, i5-8500T, and i5-8600T are once again quad-core and hexa-core, but not hyperthreaded.

While base clock speed of 2.9 gigahertz and single-core Turbo Boosts speeds up to 4.8 gigahertz, the Core i9 is way more processor than most consumers will ever need.

Intel Optane memory is an adaptable system accelerator for desktop and mobile platforms, increasing the performance and responsiveness of SATA-based storage technology without compromising storage capacity. WiFi is also a big focus for Intel in its 8th-gen Core CPUs, and with the company's Wireless-AC 2×2 160MHz WiFi, Intel says you can reach speeds of up to 1,733 Mbps - faster than a Gigabit ethernet connection.

With its Data Drive Acceleration feature, users can boost performance to a large secondary HDD drive.

The Intel Core i9-8950HK recently pooped up online for ACER Predator Helios 500 with Nvidia GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB M.2 SSD. They are additionally in light of the organization's most recent 14nm++ engineering (known as Coffee Lake) rather than the past eighth-generation Kaby Lake R chips.
