Snow, cold and wind will impact areas of northwest Montana and all along the Divide Friday through Saturday morning. I wouldn't even rule out a stray rumble of thunder during the evening when a cold front sweeps across MI. A few showers are still possible though mainly focused across the far northeast. Once the front passes through surface winds should drop off down to 5 to 15 miles per hour by morning.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 45.

THE DULL, RAINY weather is set to persist throughout the Easter weekend, with frosty conditions, hail and wind forecast over the coming days. Cooler, drier weather will follow Wednesday night and Thursday, as Canadian high pressure moves in.

Temperatures for sunrise services Easter will be in the mid-upper 50s. Lots of sunshine with streaming high clouds are expected. The clear sky and relatively dry air helps us warm quickly Saturday.

Easter Sunday, Mostly sunny and comfortable. Back to the 60s on Friday under partly cloudy skies. Southwest winds will be 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Next week will kick off with a warm-up on Monday and a chance for thunderstorms on Tuesday.

A big warmup for Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s under a mix of sun and clouds.
