It's a camera that makes "GoPro accessible to all", the company says. The camera also has waterproofing support up to 30feet.

So far, you'll notice a few features missing that GoPro offers in its higher-priced cameras.

It also looks like the software on the new GoPro Hero has also been simplified to make it easier to operate.

The HERO camera features a 2-inch touch display and provides voice control feature for recording and taking photos.

Video stabilization provides smoother capture of bumpy experiences.

The main differences between the Hero and its more expensive counterparts are mostly on the performance side. When you want to turn to stills mode, it'll serve up 10 megapixel quality images.
