Charlie Simmons | 29 March, 2018, 02:09

Expect a wet commute with rain for the drive then the showers taper to just on and off the rest of the day. Our skies will become mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers Monday and Tuesday.

"The severe threat is possible area wide and locally there will be some zones that see 1-3" of rainfall that could cause flooding. There is a chance for significant rain on Friday; however the models are trending further west with the heaviest rains.

Rain and snow showers along the mountains and foothills west of Billings on Wednesday morning will shift closer to Billings by the afternoon.

The snow looks set to continue into Tuesday, where it is expected to make its way southwards, according to WXCHARTS. Moderate showers likely through the afternoon with highs slightly cooler during the afternoon. This will allow our temperatures to get around 60F, which is much cooler than where we should be for this time of the year.

Temperatures will be below normal today through the weekend with more chances of widespread snow possible Friday evening through Saturday morning.

Look for a mix of clouds and sun Wednesday with light winds and highs in the 50s and 60s.

The weekend should be partly sunny with highs in the lower to mid-40s. Tomorrow will be flawless, too; sunshine will warm us into the 77-84 degree range across the area, with only a tiny (10%) chance of a quick shower late tomorrow.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance for rain and a high near 50 degrees.

EASTER WEEKEND FORECAST DETAILS: Enjoy clear or partly cloudy skies and seasonable highs in the 60s and 70s for Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Have a good day and a great week!
