Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018, Kensington Palace has announced.

Harry's elder brother, Prince William will most definitely be in attendance along with wife Kate Middleton, however, he will reportedly have to let go of the FA Cup Final, which happens to be one of the biggest events in English football.

The couple will Wednesday on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Kensington Palace released a statement via Twitter today.

"Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms Markle's parents".

The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh said they were "delighted" for their grandson and his bride-to-be, and "wish them every happiness".

This invitation is also a break of tradition as she is the first royal fiancee to be invited to Sandringham before becoming an official member of the royal family.

According to the BBC, the wedding - including the service, music, flowers and reception - will be paid for by the Royal Family.

Ms Markle is to become the fourth patron of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. They get introduced by a mutual friend, and recently knew very little about each other before that meeting.

It is not yet known if the ceremony will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Thirty three-year-old, Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth's grandson and fifth in line to the British throne and thirty six-year old, Markle, best known for her role in the famous United States legal drama, Suits, got engaged in London last month.

The pair were secretly engaged earlier this month, and rumours a wedding was imminent stepped up a gear when Harry took Ms Markle to meet his grandmother the Queen for tea at Buckingham Palace.

The "Suits" actress will be spending the holidays with the royals and many understand that picking the best gift for the monarch might be hard for Markle.
