She said she "didn't know how to get out of it" and feared "he would mess up her life", according to police.

Caitlyn Frisina, 17, was located in Syracuse with Rian Rodriguez, 27, more than 1,000 miles away from her Lake City home in Florida. A friend told her parents Frisina said the soccer coach wanted to leave the US and the teenager felt trapped in the decision, according to an arrest warrant obtained by Action News Jax on Sunday.

This afternoon, the Columbia County, Florida Sheriff will hold a news conference, the Frisina family is expected to attend. The messages were recovered from Frisina's phone, which the teen performed a factory reset before leaving it behind in her bedroom.

Deputies revealed that Caitlyn Frisina and Rodriguez have had a relationship since August or September. The teen's friend later revealed to the anxious parents that Frisina had previously "hooked up" with Rodriguez, the affidavit stated. Only on "CBS This Morning", Meg Oliver spoke with Frisina's parents after the reunion. He said she does "have a lot of growing up to do".

On Dec. 1, New York State Police officer in Syracuse saw the vehicle, a 2001 red Mercury Sable, that the Rodriguez and Frisina were believed to be in.

"Caitlyn was unharmed and taken into protective custody until she could be reunited with her parents", Sheriff Hunter said.

"We had a very handsome, wonderful, very emotional reunion with her a little while ago and we are so thankful to have her back", Scarlet said, as Frisina stood nearby with her father.

The Post-Standard reports police are holding Rian Rodriguez on a charge from Florida known as interference with child custody.

Caitlyn's father, Ward Frisina, told police that after checking his daughter's bank account, he saw that she withdrew $200 from an ATM in St. Marys, Georgia. "They seem like a really good, solid family, so if it could happen to them, it could happen to anyone", Smith said.

Rodriguez had not been arrested or charged late Friday, according to NY state police.

Frisina's mother Scarlet Frisina told ABC News, the family is trying to "work through things".
