Tonight, either Grace Davies or Rak-Su will be crowned the victor of X Factor 2017 - and while Rak-Su are the bookies' favourites, it really could go either way.

The X Factor 2017 victor has been revealed in tonight's final results.

The four-piece beat Grace Davies, 20, into second, becoming the first group to win since Little Mix in 2011 and the first boy band to win it.

In an X Factor first, both acts will perform only original songs, rather than covers, on tonight's extravaganza.

This includes this year's victor Rak-Su, who are the first ever X Factor act to have had three No.1 singles on iTunes whilst being on the show.

An emotional Cowell called Rak-Su "gentlemen", saying: "You are stars".

"I also have to say something else".

Jamal said: "I just want to thank everyone at home, everyone here, all my friends and family who made this special, I'm speechless".

In contention were boy band Rak-Su and soloist Grace Davies.

Their single will be released in time to challenge for the Christmas number one spot, where all proceeds for the track will be donated to children's hospice charities.

Former Fugees star Jean said the boy band were "so incredible I had to jump on a plane to come represent for them, baby".

"You wrote your own song, and not many people do that".

Simco Limited will donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each download and in respect of all audio streaming of the single, and the Chancellor has also agreed to donate the Value-Added Tax, in each case to be shared equally by Together For Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.
